Didn't know that. Does the college grad incentive apply to the M2?
Okay, CVT Sentra is too shitty to be a good example, but luxury cars are emotional purchases. There's little practical reason to buy anything more upscale than a low trim Expedition, Accord, or whatever size car fits your needs. Luxury and sport characteristics are not needs; they are wants. Certainly, nobody would be driving a manual if we didn't make emotional purchases. |

No college grad rebate. Only military rebate. Search for it. I talked about this before. No changes as of now, unless another region is different. I can only guarantee PNW.

Seriously doubt the CA could have had any say in the matter even if he believed the car belonged to the OP.

No opinion here, just facts. If you aren't running medical supplies up and down the Autobahn, the only reasons to buy an M2 instead of a civic are emotional. There's nothing wrong with that, but my point is it's silly to pretend that anyone here is a hard-nosed rationalist in the dealership. Anyone buying an M2 is simply not that.

You are correct, everyone is entitled to their opinion however why come on a BMW website and spew your opinion above? Did you think it was going to cause a bunch of converts to agree your opinion? You had to know itbwould just cause the responses you are getting and being treated as or considered a troll. I could go on and and and make remarks regarding your opinion however I have already lost too much of my life just typing this response to it. |

No need to say someone would be silly to feel hurt by having a car sold out from under them when these are entirely emotional purchases in the first place. |

Okay, I rescind my point. You obviously need 10 stages of traction control to find just the right amount of wheel spin on your way to Starbucks, a place at which your M2 will remember to roll down the window for the drive-thru. No emotions there, just business!

I think you're right that most of us get emotional about cars, but I'm not sure why you can't understand or accept that some people have a different perspective than ours, or why you believe you know other people better than they know themselves.

This is hilarious.. there is a level of excitement and anticipation with purchasing a car like this. It may not be emotionally attached, but I would be super disappointed if my car I was planning to buy and had been waiting for was sold out from under me. I don’t think it’s emotionally attached, it’s just disappointment as your anticipation of the new car is high. Everyone looks at things differently, no need to fight about it. Some people figure there will be another car coming (like a girlfriend) and others think it’s the one that got away.
