Mike for catless downpipes and people not running a femto unlock what has been the best way so far to try and keep CEL from coming on
?

And has it been determined if cel does kick on does it effect AFR being the secondary sensors

If it did why would it running lean cause a loss of power. Shouldn’t it be more power? 🤷🏼*♂️

To be honest it's not just California. The EPA (Federal) is cracking down majorly against tuners providing tunes or parts that delete or alter emissions device. Cobb Tuning just got hit with a $2.9 Million dollar settlement

They didn't "just" get hit with it. It's been an ongoing case for ~10 years...and that part has long been disbanded.

This is just the beginning though. More and more states are adopting CARB requirements. I don't like it but it's what is happening. If you remove an emission device it's in violation of Federal law, regardless if your State does emission testing or not. The Mustang world got rocked a few years ago when Lund tuning and others got ensnared by the Feds for the same thing.

if you are running catless, you probably will just need to live with the code, its only a warning light.

i personally could not do that, the warning light would bother me too much
