On the shuttle on the way to work today i quietly thought to myself "the hawks are two games away from the stanley cup finals..." This is what I was doing in my mind (it was 730 am, so toooo early to do it outside of my mind):

Me and my buddy might split season tickets next season...i have a family friend who has been a season ticket holder for yearsss and said he might be able to move me up the list

ps. BTM, you must have missed the Cubs game last night cuz the won

How much do they go for? And how can i be added to the list?
And also, do season ticket holders get playoff tickets as well? Or they have to buy them separetely?

Aren't they guaranteed the option to purchase them, but still need to pay face value for them?

You are guaranteed first dibs on playoff tickets when they go on sale, but yeah, i believe its face value. Not sure about that though.

The season ticket price depends on the section and level. The last time I priced them out, I think the 300 level was a little more or than $1000 for two seats...i may be wrong because i did that a while ago and i cant find the price chart again...Obviously the 300 level seats are the cheapest and the the further away you are from center ice (behind the nets) the cheaper they get. Me and my friend would start off around center ice at the 300 level. Once you are a season ticket holder, at the end of the season, you get the option to renew, cancel, or upgrade. If you decide to upgrade, you get a discount, which the discount gets better and better each year you have the tickets. So we would upgrade at some point, but start out with 300 level seats.

To get on the list you just have to go to the website and fill out the form. Its a $100 deposit to get on the list, per seat. Me and my buddy are just each going to get one (or two) tickets (each) together and then split the games in half. So I'd get two (or four) tickets for half the games, and he'd get two (or four) tickets for the other half.

Plus, the best part is that if you do the online option, you can have your tickets emailed to you, so if you cant make a game, you can transfer them to friends/family and you also get access to the ticket exchange where you can sell the tickets if you cant use them.

Just go to the blackhawks home page and under tickets click on full season tickets. There should be a link that says to get on the waiting list.. i guess there isnt really a good time to apply, but the sooner you apply, the higher up on the list you'll be.

Yeah, I'm excited. My friend's company always has the best tickets. I sat right behind home plate row 2 for the last cubs game I went to, so this should be great!

Thats awesome! My friends company has seats on the glass...i was like wtf, when can I go! I've sat 3rd row behind home plate for a Cubs game last year. That was pretty bad ass.
