I honestly didn't think that bimmerpost would be this full of immature people who derive satisfaction from shitting on the newer version of their car.

If you don't like it, fine. This is a forum filled with people who are excited about the G87 and it keeps getting brigaded by F87 owners yelling about how they can't stand it. Honestly I can't imagine purposely seeking out a forum for a new product just to talk shit about it because I like my version better.

This section of the forum is for G87 enthusiasts.
I have not once gone into the F87 section as the car is of no interest to me.

I understand. An article on the home page can live in two areas. In this case, some people such as myself, accessed this through the home page and not in the g87 forum section.

I have been thinking this a lot the past 2 days. If I liked the f87 better I would just be in the f87 forum and wouldn't bother looking at the g87 forum. I think the x7 is hideous, but I don't even know where that forum would be, nor car enough to go find that forum to say so. This might be why a few of my comments to people doing this have been more snarky than usual.

Really? I call BS. This is on the home page. My 6 year old could find the x7 forum. You think the x7 is hideous, hypocritical much? This has occupied your thoughts for 2 days?! This is an enthusiast site for all bimmer owners, we can wander around and comment anywhere we want and for any reason. Most people don’t. But this is on the homepage, fair game. It's kind of shortsighted for people to just outright crap on the car. They have every right to voice what they don't like, but it's silly to just do so to push buttons. Although it's subjective I agree it's not as good looking as an F87, but it's also not as ugly IMO as the G80/2. Anyway, the loudest critical voices will become fairly quiet once reviews come out and they see how this car is on par with an F87 M2 CS. If one of the button pushers ends up getting a G87 down the line, they'll have a paper trail to contend with of them talking smack about the car. That would be something.

Hypocritical how? Just because I find the x7 hideous doesn't make me hypocritical, I'm using it as an example, I'm not going out of my way to go to the x7 page to say I find it hideous, that would be childish. I didn't say you can't woader, you definitely have that right, just like you have the right to post any childish hypocritical "bs" you want. I just don't wander to pages of vehicles I dislike, nor do I go to the homepage? And fair game for what?
