Actually you could have all M Performance wheels for G20, but remember that this is not a performance oriented choice, it's just for aesthetics

Yeah I saw that in a youtube video after posting the question. I noticed they are 20s. I wish they came in 19s. Drats.

Is it just me, or do those BMW 20's just look out of place on the M240?

I agree. Seems like a lot of wheel for such a small car. If our roads weren't terrible here, I wouldn't mind such a small sidewall. However, have some additional meat helps with daily driving and tire selection.

I read through this post like 3 times and still can't figure out how to locate aftermarket wheels that match the Cooling and HP Tire package on the M240i. I'm hoping someone can translate this for me

I want to get 245/35 front and 255/35 rear Michelin tires which match the package spec. I had to order my car with all-season RFT because I will pick it up and immediately drive home to snow and ice.

I'm confused about the offsets and hub pattern.

Is this correct?:

Wheel size: 19x8.5 front, 19x9.5 rear
Offset: 27mm front 40mm rear
Hub pattern: 5x112

Does anyone know where to find such wheels aftermarket? BMW is telling me that just purchasing the exact same wheels from them will be "Over $4000" and that it's not worth it and that I should look for aftermarket wheels.

Thanks in advance!

I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will speak up, but I *think* you just need to look for properly sized wheels that fit the g20 M340.

I have the HP tire and cooling package on order.
I need to order a set of winter tires/wheels too.
BMWs winter sets are convenient but pricey.
I'll probably go through Tire Rack.com, but right now ordering via their configurator is a little difficult. If you enter the year and model #, it only gives you available tires that match the 225/255 configuration and no winter square set ups or separate wheel choices. I'll bet if you call them directly, they might be able to give you wheel/tire set ups that match the HP specs.
This is what I'll do for a winter set when it's a little closer to delivery.

Those specs look pretty close. I got O.Z. from tirerack, ordering for a G20 330i (5x112 hub). After that, backspacing is everything, of course. A lot of 30ET wheels and, for me, 255 tires on all corners fit well 19x8.5 w 30ET. I know you're looking to stagger tire/wheels too, so I'm less helpful on that rear 19x9.5 you're looking to do.

For official specs, your Genius can find the new wheel specs so you can match the ET. I think you'll find some good choices.

Thanks, this makes sense to me. I went to the Tirerack site and it looks like there will be some 8.5. / 9.5 options that are close when I entered an M340. I'll call them to discuss after I get the car.

Have a look but I'm sure vw / Audi use 5x112 so u may be able to get wheels from there, obviously will need to check the offset etc

vw center bore size 57.1mm. You should be careful with this.

The above is not universally accurate (as it applies to Audi) it only applies to certain models.

I was, but did not find many options compared to 19s. I am not sure, but confident the 18s would clear the front M Sport brakes, as I don't think they're any bigger than 14" rotors.

I ended up with 19" rims.

how close is your front wheel to the suspension? do you think another 11.4mm would still be clear? want to do a square set up 9.5" with et35. afraid the front might be touching the suspension.

I believe so yes, will probably be the same as the 330/440i current as it's the same platform

Pretty close. I’m sure you can’t use it without spacers on front.

It won't work, the G series have the 5x112 bolt pattern vs the 5x120 of the F series.
