Is your collision sensor going off with the EOS? I’ve tried 3 different times but it keeps going off when I reverse.

So it looks like I have to mount the plate higher than the sensor...

Looks as if the EOS mount sits in a different position to the Cravenspeed version. I have not had any sensor issues with the Cravenspeed mount.

With the EOS, you can mount the plate higher, lower, to the left, to the right

I put my EOS highest possible setting. The screw would be lowest right

Those who have used slybrackets, any cooling issues when using these brackets on the bottom grille?

Carbonio now has one:

Does Cravenspeed offer a tow hook mount for the M240i? I'm not seeing an option on their website. I reached out to them with no response.

If you're having trouble finding one, I've been using this bracket I purchased from Amazon 18 months ago, it's still available.

EOS Plate Version 2 Full Sized Front Bumper Tow Hook License Plate Relocator Mount Bracket Tow-580-V2.

I also purchased and briefly used a Sly Bracket, but decided it wasn't the solution I wanted.

Disregard. Cravenspeed customer support says it falls under M or M package for the M240i xdrive.

I’ve been plateless for 2 years without issue. In previous cars (S2000, BRZ) I was pulled over and ticketed. Not sure if its the car they feel better about ignoring, or its a post COVID “i dont want to be bothered with the paperwork” situation.

I bought a Sto N Sho, works great. The plate stays in the trunk until I get pulled over

Click it back on in 2 seconds and hope they don't write the ticket.

Good answer, but then when you get it out, they'll see the body stashed in your trunk.

My wife takes care of the bodies, she has a stronger stomach than I do (and she drives the SUV)

Wow that sto & sho looks like a great option just to be safe. Although I haven't have a front plate in 20 years and only got asked about it once (Chicago). They have other things to worry about...

Unfortunately, the bolts the sto & sho mount to appear to be the same ones the Turner Skid Plate mounts too (and elevates around). So if you have the ZTK pack, this option likely does not work.

I just tell the officer the plate is in the trunk because it looks stupid on the car. No reason for the bullshit, you arent fooling anyone. I've been pulled over twice, and received one ($50) ticket in the past 10 years or so running no front plate.

Around here, they will give you a ticket but will reduce or cancel it if you show up to the station and demonstrate that the plate is on the car. I figure I might be able to skip that step with this setup. I'm a busy guy, often running to appointments with clients and I don't have time to dick around with a cop writing a ticket for half an hour in their cruiser. Doesn't hurt to be prepared.
