Spoke with dealer parts dept. They said until the 2025s hit the showrooms they aren't able to locate the badge PN in their ordering system.

Yup, I checked when the OP first posted this thread. It's not in the parts system yet. Last time I checked was this morning, still nada.

This is what I did. Painted roundels and black badging front and back. I was trying to remove all chrome

Don’t forget new throttle mapping, bunch more torque, new red/black interior, and those are just the things we know about.

Were any of you guys able to add the M Performance CF wing to your build? We didn't see it listed as an option in the system for port installed accessories.

EDIT: crap wrong thread. Sorry.

In reality you probably just need the first two. I bet BMW hasn’t done anything to the motor, just revised the actual power output. It’s widely known the 2023-4 is underrated.

That would be disappointing. My bet is that the 2025's do dyno with more HP and BMW offers to reprogram 2023's and 2024's for a fee.

I was going to draw his attention to your later comment.

If given the option I would change out my wheel for the flat bottom, not because I care if people think I have a MY25 but just because I like the look. Just not the cost so it won’t be happening… The new badges are cool so don’t see why someone wouldn’t have a similar reaction to those.

deep breaths, kemosabe. we're all just having a good time here. whats a car forum without a little bit of good natured ribbing... but i would bet you a crisp $100 that other than the feel of the new wheel in hand, no one here could pass the pepsi challenge of differentiating the drive of a 24 from a 25 blindfolded.

that being said, its nice living through launch 2.0 of a car i already have and love. i am glad these small revisions have gotten the ball rolling with new buyers (and frankly, i might have picked skyscraper if it was available when i spec'd mine)

I’ve seen this idea thrown out before, but has BMW ever actually offered something like this?

If I worked for BMW, I’d say it wasn’t possible. Buy the new one.

Why is it always the '23/'24 owner poo-poo'ing the upcoming LCI updates?

LOL

I think I know why.

No reason to be Negative Nancy's and try to downplay the awesome '25 upgrades.

On one hand, some, not all, MY23/24 owners are a bit jelly over some of the new features and upgrades that MY25 is getting. On the other hand, those getting MY25 can't contain their exuberance over their new cars and tend to come across as pushing MY23/24 owners nose in a steaming pile of shite.

At any given point in time, you will either be the person with something that is considered old or the one getting something exciting and new. Either way they are both transient states; the person with something old can get something new later and the person with something new today will be old tomorrow. Enjoy what you have without minimizing what others do or don't have. In other words, don't be a dick about shit.

I’m not seeing any of this happen by ‘25 owners. None. I’ve never seen or said anything of the sort. I have ONLY seen 23/24 owners bring shit up whenever a new 25 feature is brought up.
