Married for 10 years, wife couldn't care less about cars. She hates driving my 335xi - says it's "too fast". She drives a 2012 Toyota RAV4 (with the V6 it's actually a pretty zippy SUV). I mentioned the other day that the next vehicle I'm going to get her will be a BMW x3. She just rolled her eyes and didn't say anything.

I'm getting married next month which means I can't get my mtech bumpers. Hopefully within the next year after buying a bigger house. Then I'll have to convince her that the bumpers are a need not a want.

Married 8 years. Wife loves cars about as much as I do. She got rid of her modded GTI for an M sport X1, which she often regrets. She has done a few PCA drivers events and now wants us to get a second "track use" car. Despite me already having a very nice 335 she supported my purchase of an S2000 for track days and summer fun. Totally supports any mods I want to do. We got married around 30 and have put some time and effort into getting where we are financially so we aren't blowing money we don't have. Here's a pic of her (left) and her friend at a recent PCA drivers skils day... S2000 foreground, blue E92 in the background.

Girlfriend of a year says she likes it, but she sure doesn't act like it. She gets all pissy when I'm cautious about it like when I tell her to "watch out for the cuphoders" when she gets in and out and she leaves them open (she is constantly bashing them). She also thinks its a trashcan, leaving whatever she brings in there, on the floor or in-between the seat. She does the same crap in my bedroom(slightly of topic), the thing is, she keeps her car/bedroom pretty clean.

Also I was going to start a thread asking this,

*Does anyone else's GF/Wife constantly try to ruin their seat?!?!
ANY girlfriend that's been in my car ALWAYS sits on anything that might be there(even if I'm currently moving said item), or they will sit on their own keys or pens or anything they bring in the car.

I don't get it.

As much as she hated to admit it, she loved my m3. We've been together for close to two years so its hysterical hearing her call other people ricers and commenting on other cars.

Just start doing the same with her car/room and she may take notice.

My wife drives an E70 X5, but hates cars. You learn to find ways to justify buying, say, a new charge pipe just so you can have a BOV instead of DV's.

"Babe, I am trying to be economical here by purchasing one BOV rather than two DV's and it will make it cheaper in the long run. Just trying to think ahead here because my stock DV's are about to take a shit."

I may or may not have said that in the past couple days...

Girlfriend of 7 1/2 yrs. She is a car queen. Her first car was a 92 camaro which we had painted and re did the interior. And anytime I work on that one she is out there helping out. We just did the struts last week. And she daily drives my 335i and loves it. She wants a fast car and it took a lot of convincing to get the 3 instead of the C6 vette. She hasn't got around to loving my WRX yet. But she let's me mod whatever. She's a keeper.

The 06 325i is my wife's car.
The 06 M5 is my mid age crisis car, not a daily driver.

I never have understood why the females like Mercedes so much???

Have a gf, I'm pretty convinced she's bittersweet about it, she hates that it had so many problems when I first got it, also she doesn't like how fast it is because she knows I get carried away at every red light, she hates that I talk about it and stuff too...wait what the hell am I saying she's not bittersweet, she hates the thing!

My wife does not like cars, she drives a Land Rover and will probably always have an SUV.

She thinks my car looks nice but hates riding in it. She isn't a fan of spirited driving so I drive like a grandma when she is in the car.

I wanted to get an M3 but she wouldn't let me spend that much. When looking at the 2 cars she cannot tell the difference and thinks my car is "fast enough" as it is. I've been working on her the last few years and I have her semi-sold to let me get an M3 next. That's the only thing holding me back lol.

My wife though cars were an appliance until she got a 328xi wagon. Her driving habits have changed a bit. She goes way above the posted limits for on ramps and hammers it blending with traffic on the highway. I hope she doesn't get a ticket...
