Man, I never liked the podium interviews while the debrief room interviews are a highlight of each race. Today should be the last podium interview if FIA has any brains, it was frigging embarrassing with Berger calling Nico, Lewis and then later grabbing Nico and calling him Massa and then calling Massa's car a Mercedes.

Overheard in McLaren's boardroom: We are so happy! Progress is good and we expect to be in the points as early as 2025. /joke

I really hope Hulk gets a drive at Ferrari next year. Kimi is 100% done.

Just my opinion, but only possible chance Ferrari has this year is on Hungaroring. That is still a far fetch.

You didn't. Just the first lap crash with Kimi / Alonso, then fast-forward to the result

This reminds me of years back, when Stewart Racing would come out for free practice, and the announcers would start shouting that they've made a big step forward, equal with the top teams etc. And then basically every other team would come out and outdo them by 3 secs/lap.

I still remember them calling "McLaren International".
I know Ron Dennis used that name back in the 90's. But now its 2015. Even McLaren dropped the "international" already!!!

The front of the Force India is quite interesting.

Word is the revised Force India has been quick in testing.

Those are Aero Rakes, which measures and map airflow.

AERO RAKES

What really grabs the attention in testing are the large aero rakes.

These are made up of an array of Kiel probes which will map airflow across the full surface of the rake.

Commonly these are fitted behind the front tyre to measure the tyre's wake, or towards the rear of the sidepod to map the flow passing towards the rear wing/diffuser. Other positions include around the rear wing or behind the diffuser.

As such a large number of probes are used, the transducer end of the sensor is not mounted to the probe, but connected via a thin plastic tube to a pod elsewhere on the car.

For the very large front tyre wake rakes, the resulting pod can be huge, so it will be mounted well away from the probes so as not to upset the airflow near them.

Another method is to run a simpler rake with a single row of probes, then mount the rake to an articulated arm. While testing, the arm will rise up and down mapping the same area as a large rake.
