Done and Done. Although, has anyone driven the Hellcat? I went to 2 dealers and they said they don't allow for test drives!

Modified C6Z or C6 ZR1. You'll shit your pants with excitement.

How about a base F-Type? It starts a bit above $60K, but I hear that dealer incentives are pretty good at the moment.

I'm a little surprised not many folks think keeping the FBO M235 and continuing to mod it is an option. For instance, put on a VTT, Pure or RB (if available) Stage 2 turbo, etc, etc. Kinda waiting for someone to talk me off the ledge hahaha. To reiterate, I'm getting frustrated that the FBO M235i didn't turn out as quick as I hoped. Now making the choice to either go full out or cash in the chips for options 1-6. Thanks guys! Your input is all read, considered, and valuable! For instance, starting to research the last gen Viper and C6 Z06 more. |

Go drive a modified Viper & C6Z & ZR1. I don't mean a bolt-on car either. While fast, won't make you nearly as happy as one with a cam and/or head work. Gen 5 Viper or none as well. The C6Z is faster than the Viper FYI. (Stock vs stock) |

Not unbelievable at all. A stripper M3 invoice is less than $60k. My buddy just paid under invoice for his M4. So a $60k M3 isn't out of the question.

Ok, but let me politely ask - was there any registration or tax? What about floormats?

The car comes with floormats. I invite you to view our helpful pricing guide thread, where you can learn this and many other nuances of what comes standard. http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1215972 Now, pricing has gone up twice since I bought my car. On the plus side, they now throw in Comfort Access, Harmon Kardon, and Satelite radio standard. |

1.) A LOT of LS7's have exhaust valve guide issues from defective heads 2.) It needs better shocks, as stock it's a little sketchy.

What shocks do you recommend? Also, what car did you have before the C6Z? Lastly, what mods do you have on the C6Z? I read that through its life, the C6Z went through several changes and updates that aren't generally known by the General public. Supposedly the earlier C6Zs were a lot less predictable on the track, etc. Any MYs to favor or stay away from? |

To ALL:
Thank you so much for the continued feedback. Keep the info coming. The Porsche 997 Turbo is overwhelmingly the top choice so far, followed by the C7 Z51. Biggest loser is the S6. Off the poll, a lot of folks suggesting LS-powered muscle such as the G8, C6, and CTS-V. A couple recos for the Hellcat and the GT350. I like both. Keep them coming guys. |

For me i just see so much value in the corvette. They look so cool, have great GM warranty, and the price to go with it. the GM v8 can also take so much more power with aftermarket compared to a BMW or 911. you can buy a bolt on blower kit for the c7 that cost under 10k and gives you 600HP. other cars can reach this kind of performance, but takes more money. for around 60k there isn't a better car. Now if you wanted to spend more money that changes. |

I just sat in a 6th gen 2016 Camaro 2SS today and was duly impressed. MSRP was $45,000 and they were advertising it with a $1000 discount before negotiation.
The car has so many standard features and tech bits it's crazy. Customizable gauges. HUD. 25 colors of ambient lighting. Wi-Fi hotspot. Heated and Cooled seats. Heated steering wheel. Rear camera. Parking sensors. Wireless mobile phone charger. On and on. Plus it's actually a decent quality interior. I'm not going to say it's better than the interior in my M235i, but I think it's more interesting and futuristic looking. And then of course the performance. NA V-8 with 455/455 horsepower/torque. 3.73 LSD. 20" Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Same platform as the ATS. 3600 pounds. No one knows exactly how good it is yet, but Motor Trend just did a Head2Head session with it at Willow Springs comparing it to the M4. Should be published on Feb 24 so we'll know soon enough. I'm actually thinking the 2SS is going to beat the M4.
