I'm 46, have my two top, never got my bottom ones.
Old dentist told me I should get them removed because they might keep growing and cause bite problems or might decay but 8 years later still have no issues and new dentist has never brought it up. I am skeptical of any "someday it might cause you problems".

High school. Got them removed because they were impacted and causing me pain. I skateboarded a lot at the time, so I disregarded the medical advice I was given and went skating on the 3rd day of recovery. Shockingly, nothing bad came of it. I miss being young and stupid
