Still not convinced by the front end treatment, its way too busy/gimmicky and brings the whole design down.
The new pics make it look better. The lines are quite fluid. How big are those wheels? For the money/class, can't beat either the Aston Martin Rapide, new updated Quattroporte and the Bentley Flying Spur Speed though.

This car officially has the single most badass reverse lights on a production car to date.

OMG! interior is so exceptional in design, it surprised me because there is quite nothing like it.
The steering wheel and those shift pedals.......

Terrible, so terrible. Why do they need a four door? To me, it dilutes the image and I can see the Porsche Panamera in it. The rear quarter is all jacked up.
Interior is solid. That coupe chop reminds me of the new CTS-V coupe. |

Rapide: 4-door DB9 Panamera: awkward 4-door 911 Estoque: unique. every body panel is totally new and its just mad! looks so aggressive! That said I still think it has a look of a charger about it. I think the front engine gives it that look and the rear fender bulges etc. I'd still take it over anything but!

I know many here might hate me for saying it but this car would never had looked as well built or even had made it this far without the excellent leadership of Audi.
I also heard that they chose not to use the V12 and instead picked the Audi designed V10 because it would meet all the requirements needed for a luxury saloon, stating the V12 too harsh and not civilised enough. The next question is, will we see an even more powerful version using the bi-turbo system from the RS6, finally seeing what that engine's true capabilities are in terms of horsepower and torque. |

Even the wheels are eerily similar. And the Charger R/T Concept is 10 years old. As to why build it? Lambo used to have front engine 4 passenger GT cars alongside the mid engine 2 seaters, so this is just a return to that idea, with easier access to the rear seats. it really doesn't compete with the Bentley, so for VAG, it puts a competitor in the front engine GT market where they have been absent since the '70s. I think it's a good idea for them, and they will stand out against the Aston, Porsche, and Ferraris in that segment.

It's true though; Audi's germanic influence has done a great deal of good for Lambo. Evidence can be seen with the LP640 and LP560. I don't understand how a V10 could be less harsh than a V12. Usually more cylinders = smoother engine.
