So I started this thread back in 2020 and its been crazy to source graphic cards since then....but now, lo and behold: prices are dropping and inventory is available again.

I might start looking into doing a new build soon. There was no way I was going to feed into the lunacy of the prices being commanded for GPUs during the past couple of years.

Yup, mining is barely profitable now. At peak I was earning over 200 a day. several months ago I could only pull around 30 a day. I sold everything except my gaming rigs (3080 and a 1660s for the daughter) and I checked today and can earn a whopping $1 dollar a day with those two. It was good while I lasted. Fingers crossed it comes back up within the next 5 years or so, otherwise I'm out.

I had 6 1660 supers in an open air mining frame, 2 1660 supers in my daughter's gaming PC, a 3080 and 3060 ti in one gaming PC and a 3080 and 1660 super in another gaming PC.

Total of something like 580mh/s

That's all long gone now though. Sold it all except for my gaming pcs and for those I sold the extra cards.

Everyone can get their cards now, ETC RVN etc are not profitable to mine now...

I myself have over a thousand if someone needs some 3xxx series
