Thanks! It’s a unique one, that’s for sure among the sea of trucks and SUVs here in TX.

Not sure that I fully agree on the best looking car in existence, but it’s a joy to drive as a family hauler!

This thread got me looking at the RS6 and I want to say a couple things, the interior is beautiful! Those seats look super comfortable, the wagon variant is super badass, I had an Mazdaspeed3 back in 08 and loved the hatchback look, the wagon RS6 looks awesome, just cannot justify or afford the $130K+ price tag, especially with these interest rates! Super happy with the 1.99% I got on my 22 M340ix.

True, had not thought about that since it’s invisible when using the app

I had an RS6 on order, and wanted to go hog-wild and get an individual color, and most of the options.

My dealer had one last year as a recent trade-in and so I took a test drive, honestly it didn't blow me away with the performance. It sounds great, and interior is comfortable, it just kinda felt like a really low high performance SUV. Tough to overcome the weight penalty. I ended up with a Taycan, and then sold that recently for a CT4 Blackwing.

Don't get me wrong if I had kids that RS6 would be mighty tempting still, congrats and enjoy it!

Haha, kids are an important part of the equation. Thanks again!

I'm curious how the switch the Blackwing has gone. I'm actually considering trading in my M4 for a CT5 Blackwing. I need to drive it first tho and see how it feels.

Changed my mind on how I feel about the RS6. Family SUVs are so common and give off strong mommy/Costco crawler vibes, even souped up Cayennes.

At least the RS6 is unique and nearly as practical as an SUV, assuming you live in a climate where the lesser ground clearance isn't an issue.

I'd definitely opt for a sportier car personally, but as a substitute for an SUV I love the idea of the RS6.

Not to hijack the thread, but it’s been great. The 4 BW (roughly F80 size) is much more nimble than the 5 BW (F10 M5 size). Depends on what you are looking for, a freight train v8 or a nimble handler v6, both cars can be tuned to 700whp+ now. The manual is just as good as my 991.2’s, engine is strong, suspension is mag-ical (magnetic ride ), interior is solid (no gimmicks which is cool with me coming from ultra gimmicky Taycan), and rarer than hens teeth (neither BW has produced more than 2,000 units for the US yet). Zero regrets, though I will be back to Porsche - possibly a GT3 - eventually. Go for it!

Right there with you on this and share a similar sentiment with any car that I own quite frankly…

I have to ask. How is it keeping all that clean? All that shiny black paneling and touch screens. It can't be easy keeping all the fingerprint marks and smears from touching it clean.

My Q7 has basically the same interior trim and layout, and it's surprisingly easy to keep clean. If you are a greasy fingered slob, then no but then again no car will look clean. The screens have a very good oleophobic coating on them and the piano black plastic is fingerprint and dust resistant (not to read fingerprint proof). We have 3 kids and a dog, and they clean up very nicely with hardly any micro scratches. Now do I loathe piano black plastic in cars still? Yes, it's a very dumb material to put on an interior.
