Was very happy that day... and most every day since then. July 26, 1975.

My girl moved in across the street in 1964. She was 14 and I was 17. Love at first sight.

We got hitched in 1969, while I was in the Army. Spent our 1st year of marriage apart while I did my 12 month tour in Vietnam. Kept her high school graduation picture in my wallet; something that kept my spirits up during the not-so-good times.

52 great years and still ticking!

That's awesome. 52 years. That's the longest marriage here, at least so far in this thread. A lot of people here aren't even that old yet.

I was 9 when you met. 14 when you were married.
