Well, here's something weird. As you can see from the screen shot I posted earlier, my car was shown as "in transit" on November 12. I am attaching a new screen shot taken at 1:15am on November 26. Notice how the status has moved backwards to "at port".

The BMWGenius gave me the ship name and voyage number for my car. It docked in New York on Nov. 19 and should have been off-loaded then. I wonder what's going on?

I think the first time is when it's at the port of departure in Mexico. It jumps back to that when it's at the port of arrival in the States or wherever

This is my first ordered car. Do any other manufacturers have a tracking system like BMW? And is it any better? Worse?

looks like my car just left the port in California. I'm in Denver, Colorado, so just wondering if anyone has thoughts on how long it might take to get to my dealer? although I want my new car asap, I'm kind of hoping it doesn't come in before the end of the month as then the dealership will put the screws to me to try and do the deal before December 1.

that could impact things, but my main issue is I don't want to have to rush and do everything at the last minute if my car comes in right before the end of the month, which is next Tuesday. If it comes in after Dec 1, I'm hoping they won't be so high pressure for me to take delivery right away so that will give me some time. plus I'm working on selling my current f22 m240i and need to take some stuff off it before I do.

You mean like new incentives? My CA won't discuss financin with me until the car gets here because it might not be bere until early december and he says that incentives change every month.

When I put the deposit down for my car they ran everything and that locked in the incentives at that time. If the incentives are better when the car arrives, going to be December now, then I choose to take those instead.

Absolutely correct. I got a call this morning that my car arrived at the dealer.

I live in New York and I'm picking-up the car at BMW of the Hudson Valley. I should be picking it up around the end of this week.

Yes, that is correct. It says at port when it hits the departure port, then goes to in transit when on the ship, then back to in port at the destination port/VPC then back to in transit until it hits the dealership.
