I think I've found the bug for why that is happening. Releasing version 5.0.2 to the Google play store right now which should hopefully fix your issues.

I just got a number 1 on my icon badge. I can't see anywhere in the app what it's referring to. Or how to get rid if it.

And, BTW, inside the app there is a 5 on my Notifications icon. When you click on it there is a whole list of Replies and Appreciates. But, what does the 5 mean?

And while typing this, the text is way behind showing up on the screen after it's typed.

Edit: and when I posted, the lines where all jumbled and I had to fix it from my PC.

Just a bit glitchy still.

Notifications is still being heavily worked on. The 5 means you have 5 “unread” notifications.

We haven’t yet built in how to determine what is read or is unread. But should be coming within the next few days-weeks

Well, I went back deleted v5.0.2 and then downloaded & reinstalled v5.0.2, signed in and MyForums and subscriptions are working!!

Dislikes:

1. I have to log out and log back in a few times for it to let me make one post - it keeps saying I can't make the post because I'm not logged in (even though I am) even with this very post.
2. I've uninstalled, installed, and reinstalled the app - no differences
3. I can't get my subscriptions loading as it keeps saying I'm not connected to the internet
4. I can't edit my posts
5. I can't see who appreciated my post
6. I can't appreciate a post easily. When I hit the appreciate button, it keeps going round and round without doing anything
7. When I try to reply to a post, while quoting the original post I'm replying to, it cites the original quote twice
8. It won't hold my particulars in my profile even when I enter everything fresh

Likes:

1. A lot more effective with the font attributes readily available up to
2. Easier on the eyes
3. Can use ordinary emojis now; what a relief
4. Can change the font size for reading posts (this is an awesome feature)
5. Love the fact that the M2 forum had a M2 CS on the cover

I too couldn't make a post. I had two attachments, just tried to post without any attachments and still got the 'you are not logged in' error. It does look nice though.

Some updates

I can now edit my post but it won't go through - when I hit the submit button, it goes on an infinite loop

Some other parts that for fixed with 5.0.3

1. Editing my post is possible, submitting the edit, not so much
2. I get to see subscriptions more
3. I can see my avatar but still no info in profile

New discoveries

Weird thing

My motivations are no longer displaying

I get notification saying I've got 4 new notifications but in the notification page, nothing is on display.

Ditto with messages. It tells me I've got a private message but doesn't display anything.

This was fixed with 5.0.3 but has reverted back to its old self.
