I have taken delivery of 4 BMWs directly to me and each had 4 miles on it

Btw, after driving for a couple hundred miles (before my first gas refill), I compared the MPG data for the lifespan of the vehicle vs the MPG from the dealer's gas refill, and those first 11 miles had VERY low MPG. Big discrepancy between the two numbers and I've been driving mostly in sport/sport+

Not sure it's from the dyno/PDI…or if my CA was just having a very fun road test

How did you manged hundred miles?
In Poland they are putting so little gas that you have to drive very eco to get to the nearest petrol station.

I was ordering an X3 in the past. I was at dealer and they didn't have it in yet and there was a XM full M suv there and they asked me if I wanted to drive it? Heck yeah lets go. She got in the passenger seat and away we went. Her phone rang about 3 miles down the road and she said ok and hung up. She looked at me and said " this car is sold and the customer watched as we drove their car away. I wouldn't be happy if it was me picking up my car to see it being driven by others !

I'd be pissed. This is why I wanted to pick up my car asap once it reached the dealer. Worried a salesman would say "yeah, we have a 240 here if you want a quick test drive, come on down"

It's customary in the States to deliver a new (and even used cars via a dealer) to the customer with a full tank of fuel.

Toyota still even states it on the window sticker.

Got my car with 22km on it. Picked it up a few days back. Increased the mileage by almost 50% now to 32km driving it to a shop to get ppf done 😉

My car had 25 miles. Bought it the day after it arrived. Had a test ride and drive in it. Added maybe 5 miles.

But I suspect since it was the 1st and AFAIK the only example of a 230i the dealer has gotten in or will get in the GM and/or sales manager probably gave it a test drive.

12 miles on mine when I picked it up. Dealers took it to local garage to put fuel in it. Reckon they went long way round! 🤭
