No, unless you count the G87.

They gave the G42 an LSD, M Mirrors, M Power Dome, M Brakes, M Seat Belts, but they couldn't give the G87 some side vents.

They are not functional though. Faux ‘air curtain’ vents. The F15 X5’s were functional.

As most I'm very disappointed with the rear of the car, i will hold my final judgement until i see more pictures from different angles.

Also looking forward to seeing pictures in a different colour than the zandvoort blue, hoping this may somehow help soften the squared look of the rear bumper.

Taking pics at certain angles DO matter lol. Still not feeling that color, don't like that the bottom of the front bumper isn't body colored, can't believe it doesn't have fender vents, the rear deflectors are an eye sore and wish it didn't have a widescreen tablet tacked on like it was an afterthought.

Other than that, it offers a manual so I guess I'm still getting it lol

The pics look like they were taken taken from a height of 5-6ft above ground while looking 'down' on the car. I'm sure it will look a lot better once it's revealed. I don't however recall the F87 looking that bad from the same perspective. Zandvoort Blue isn't doing it any favors either. Can't believe that's the launch color. At least the OG M2 had LBB and the M2c HS as their launch colors. Both were far better than ZB and they were both metallic too.

What is the point if it is only cosmetic? If I recall correctly they have not been functional since their introduction on the E46 M3 and the E60 M5.

I don't think it looks "bad" per se but it does lacks some of the spice the F87 has. Some more aggressive aero will help, I'm sure.

Aesthetics aside, for me, it will all come down to the gap in performance gap and driving feel between the the new G series and my current F.
