Replacements are never a fix where I’ve seen it done before… they just get a new headlight that has no condensation until next time it forms.
I have no problem with a condensation mist, that’s totally normall and you’d expect to see that evenly on both lights. For me it’s an issue that one headlight has got noticeable ugly water drops streaking down the inside. And the other is totally fine. That’s an issue with intrusion in my opinion. Per UK consumer law I believe I’m entitled to a refund but my dealer is refusing. Citizens advice here we go.

A refund as in, the cost of a new headlight?

No for the car. Check my post above for an explanation. But basically UK consumer law says that if there is a fault with a product you buy within 30 days you’re entitled to a refund. I want a refund for the car because I’ve lost faith in both it and my dealer after their attitude towards me about this issue. The car is a week old and developed this fault. I’m not settling for a new headlight I want my money back.

Well, since I am sure this is most likely just a design negligence... perhaps the headlight needs some active ventilation, maybe a little fan or something, due to some nuance in its overall shape or whatever...

it will almost certainly happen to me sooner or later, and we will see if I am as casual when it is my turn. I certainly would want it proactively resolved, eventually, if it was frequently occurring and not quickly clearing itself out. I dont think I would ditch the whole car for it though. I am 2200 miles in and grown quite attached to the car otherwise. I think I would rather research, understand, fix it, and then sell a kit

Mine has a PDC sensor error that goes off every time I turn on the car, and due to it, the right side proximity sensors are not working and the occupied lane warning on that side isnt working. This started at less than 200 miles in. I intend to leave it alone until the 3rd oil change at 10,000 miles which is free at the dealer, so I will have them plug in for diagnostics then. I dont know about the UK, but here they would never take the car back for it. They are provided several opportunities to remedy it before you can take action.
