Thanks for posting. This affirms my decision to go for BSM. It looks great against the snow.

I was up in Arjeplog last week for the Ice Driving class. Saw the new X2 and 5 series all camo’d up. It’s a cool job until you do the commuter flight from Munich to Arvidsjaur a couple times.

Not uncommon. Min temp setting is 60 degrees and tleven that can be warm if you're wearing winter clothes.

That's what I was thinking also, bit late to be testing the current gen car! Either old news pics, or a new model.

That rear man. Hopefully they make an LCI. A butt lift is necessary

Agreed. While keeping in mind that when one has it removed years later down the road that it can damage the factory clear coat. I love PPF, but having it removed and replaced with new film down the road can be hit or miss.

I think this is likely "winter wheel tire package" testing for 2023-2024 winter season

You’re 100% correct

That’s why using a quality product and a quality installer is a must

I’m replacing my entire front end w/ new PPF after 5 years on a garaged car with new film once my GTS hood is installed

I have an older European vehicle that needs the nine year old PPF replaced and an acclaimed Xpel installer did not want to take on the task due to the risk involved with removal. He advised I leave it be.

That is what "scares" me in having that on the car. They age poorly sometimes. My current car doesn't have anything like that, 2008 E90 335i, original owner, daily year-round driver (including brutal winters at minus stupid (-40 C) with snow and everything)and the factory paint still looks like new. It is garaged at home though.

I believe I am only going to do the front bumper cover, rocker panels, and the impact area of the rear fenders just passed the doors on the G87. I might add the headlights as well.

Is there any issue with taking off the clear factory film on the rear hips of the F87?The film has really discoloured and they both have a bunch of stains on them. It’s in my garage when i am not driving the car and it still looks like crap now after 7 years.I definitely need to get it replaced now with something better like Xpel.

I did the entire front end from the doors forward, including a pillars

The door cups, the hips, and behind the rear tires

Then full ceramic pro on top of that

Worth it’s weight in gold
