Oh, I see what you did there

I'm usually not a fan of all black wheels, but must say that I'm liking them on the G87 more than the bi-color. My dealer just called me the other day to place my G87 order (I was #1 on the list), but I passed as I'm likely going to wait for the Comp or CS versions in a few years.

I'm looking forward to some real world reviews from folks once the G87 starts hitting the road.

Still difficult to comprehend how this color (ZB) was selected as a launch color for this car. ballsy move for sure.

p.s: i still think it's atrocious and hope some of you in the first batch of allocations picked white, black and red so that we can get some real world shots as to what this car looks like in colors other than primer gray (metallic) and baby blue (non-metallic).

ZB is not metallic.

Saw two G87s in the metal for the first time too, yesterday here in Canada. Brooklyn Grey is manual, black one is ZF auto; Both have carbon roofs and M tri-colour highlight sofas. Carbon trim interior is now a must for me, after seeing it in person (which both cars have).

Of course it’s subjective, but I like them a lot better with the black wheels and am surprised they didn’t have any cars with black wheels at the California press review event.

“Disappointed” to see Pirellis on both cars.

Sales manager will let me know when Zandvoort Blue is in for me to look at, as that’s my eventual colour choice if I go with the G87. Mine would be fully daily driver spec: sunroof, ZF auto, tri-colour sofas.

Wish I could have seen black in person! Looks good.

Seems like most of the HEA cars are coming with Pirellis. Let's hope that means my May production will be surrounded by a surplus of Michelins

Canadian HEAs seem to be strong with PZeros. US HEAs are at worst split, if not PS4S favored.

Hoping for the same, a lot of these HEA cars were built months ago so maybe BMW was burning through Pirelli stock or something. I have no clue what the rhyme or reason is for BMW using Michelins or Pirellis lol

Yup, I promised myself I’d never get a black car again, but this would be really tempting. I’d probably choose it over Brooklyn Grey as my second choice.
