Appreciate all the replies.
They've are giving me a 6.29% rate. I have no choice, but this is fine. Will speak to the General Manager when I get to the dealer. Not sure if I'll be given any consideration. I'd be elated to get $1000 off at this point. Sucks missing out on PCD too. If not a discount on the purchase price, what could I asked for that reasonable? Dont want service credit cause I've moved to the other side of town. Hopefully I'll collect it Thursday or Friday

Figures
Does anyone know. I remember long ago of a finance person asking me NOT to pay off the vehicle before a certain time or the finance doesn't get paid off that interest I was told if my car wasn't delivered by Sept 1, I couldn't do PCD I received my "Build Sheet" on 6/29/23 It did not list the PCD on that build sheet, but I have an email that I requested PCD. My SA responded as to NOT knowing how to "order" a PCD. I signed off on the build sheet on 7/6. No other communication until 10/10 I have read on blogs, auto news sites that reads: A recent rumor has been causing a stir among BMW enthusiasts and customers regarding the BMW Performance Center deliveries in South Carolina. According to a several dealers, starting from September 1st, 2023, the PCD deliveries will only be available on cars built in Spartanburg. Any imported BMW car that is not optioned for Performance Center Delivery (PCD) before the aforementioned date will not be accepted. My question is: If it was optioned (It should have been) when I signed off on my build sheet 6/29/23, Would i have been able to do PCD? This, to me, a 100% fail on the CA. Getting angrier **Another update** Called another dealer to get some "official" info regarding those PCD changes. He thinks, based on my timeline, the CA forgot to put it on my build sheet and I should have been able to try and reserve a slot. He said if the car went into status 150 before 9/1/23, I'd be eligible for PCD.

When the Performance Center announced that it was no longer accepting delivery reservations after 9/1 (except for cars built in SC), there was alot of confusion that did and didn't trickle down to the dealers.
My CA didn't even know they had announced it when I called to say I had read in the forums... Within a week of the news being reported on the forums, there was clearer verbiage being shared online that mentioned any car with a production number can have a PCD reservation as long as it is requested before 9/1. So if your CA submits your production number for a PCD anytime before 9/1, the vehicle status changes from '1' to '99' and you will be reserved a spot for Performance Center Delivery when the vehicle gets built. I had to call my CA and have him put it in, and then I called the Genius line the next day and sure enough, it shows up in their system as a PCD unit. Sorry that you didn't fall into that path, but I am sure a lot of others also didn't make it due to the way the whole thing was conveyed by the Performance Center.

UPDATE:
Collected the car Thursday night Talked to the GSM. Not pleased with the outcome, but expected the lying lip service. I brought up the PCD at first. He curtly responded twice with, "They did away with the program." I repeated that I had a production number before 9/1 and was finally met with, "I dont know anything about that, but i'll reach out to some BMW district rep and ask about it. Blah blah blah." FAIL I told them I felt it was breach of contract that someone received their car 2 months before I received mine. He went on some diatribe that their initial allocation was for 3 units. I questioned why someone received their vehicle 2 months before i did.He said allocations are different than production. BTW, the 3rd allocated car arrived at the same time mine did. He also said the guy who bought multiple vehicles (E46, F80, G80, X3M) from them prior played NO ROLE in him getting his car first. Sure, Jan! I objected to the fact that the guy who got his delivered before mine changed their build from TR to BSM. He doubled-down on saying mine had a delay due to my options on the car. Riiiiiiiiiiight BG, 6mt, Lighting, Heated steering wheel, red calipers, aluminum trim. FAIL I said my piece. Time to move on to completing the deal I was only allowed to put $3500 on a CC Personal check for the remaining deposit. 875 Credit score 6.29 rate Waiting for the survey and made a complaint with BMW customer relations.
