Weather for the GP weekend is high temps with no rain unsurprisingly and Friday having gusts of around 32mph for quali. As the weekend progresses the gusts will subside and the race itself will come down to teams' tyre strats for the 33C temps and winds down to 15 mph.

Liam Lawson has himself an F1 drive in '25 , it remains to be seen but I can see him skipping the renamed Alpha Tauri and going in as Max's teammate when Checo's contract ends. If Checo does leave before his contract is up it'll be Lawson and Ricciardo in the Colosseum for the spoils and I don't fancy Ricciardo's chances.

You really can't compare drivers because they still have to have a good and reliable car to win.

MAX was 17 and won his first F1 race in the junk RB12 without driver license because he was too young (Spain 2016)!
No one can beat that . It's a Guinness World Record !

Right because it was unheard of for such a young driver to end up in F1. IJS just because Max did it doesn't mean that others could not have it given the opportunity.

^ There's no doubt that this record will never be broken, the only person I think of now is Lawson but he's 4 years too late if should bag a win and it's unlikely with the marketing and hiring policies of teams now that a 17 YO will even drive an F1 car in a FIA GP.

Betting odds are in for the Qatar weekend and Max is the favourite by a massive margin to take the spoils at 1.20.
Norris and Perez are next up at 15.0 then Piastri at 19.0 and surprisingly Sainz way down at just 29.0.
