P.S. Everybody always says they’ll buy a GT3…….but few ever do. The maintenance of a GT3 is far more than the price of entry.

The funny thing is there's a guy on here who has GT3 and also bought a G87 M2. So I wouldn't take it to heart.

I never do. I was just making a point. The BMW community has always loved to throw the more expensive Porsche into the mix.

One of the few.

The outlier for sure. Most won’t even pony up for a non-GT Carrera variant let alone a fully fledged hyper-price-inflated GT car. I’m starting to wonder if passing on a 992 GT3 recently was a bad idea. I just didn’t want to deal with the center locks, buying that big ass wrench, etc. That, and not having a build spec’d exactly as I wanted it. At least my ‘22 C2S is built exactly how I wanted it.

CSL is more enveloped heritage but I prefer to GT E36 homage.

The grey car with F80 style rims? Yes, super nice one, best on the display for my taste as well. Good color combo, nice wheels, great stance. Car looks incredible and a very worthy E30 M3 descendent.

He probably tried to say the 992 gen or anything that the latest is, forgetting there are so many awesome GT3s out there you can lay your hands on if youre not bothered by chasing latest body style. Narrow hip GT3 997s are 100-120k and you know they arent falling in price... lots to find. Still, I think M2 from manufacturer is nothing you can compare to GT3 because thats not really much of a road car while M2 is very much a road car. And when you do spend 100k extra making it a track weapon, yes, sure the maintenance will be much easier on BMW, but do you really want to do that... I would not.

Great car, love the mods. A little steep for my blood for what it costs to build, but appreciate those tuners putting cars like these out there for us to drool over

While the 997 is epic for sure

It’s really hard to beat a 991 in PDK if you’re tracking often.

997 GT3 RS is the only one I would own to keep forever though. It’s perfect

When the time comes… I’ll most likely be shopping modest spec 991s… it’s my fav line still. 👍🏻
