Break-in sucks, in winter..

This is the first that I heard of run-in service. Will the dealer cover?

There isn’t one for an M240i xDrive, only the M2

There is not a prescribed one for the m240, but you should still be a following break in procedures and changing the oil in the first 600-1k miles.
