I'd be curious in how this deal was settled as well. Kind of wrong move on both parties if you ask me. Seller should have had integrity and honored the contract as they were bound to it. Although it would hurt for a dealership to lose $100,000 (that kind of a loss in profits would even be painful to a mega dealership!), any good businessman should know that integrity is beneficial to a business in the long run. On the other hand though, the buyer should have known how hurtful this is to a business (and ESPECIALLY to whatever poor internet salesman/sales manager made this typo), and had the sympathy to let the dealer negotiate another deal.

My guess would be that maybe the dealer sold the buyer a lightly used LP640 (probably still 2007 model) for around the same price. This would probably be a much more reasonable deal at this point in time, should satisfy both parties, and still lets contract law prevail.
