my submission
Let me tell you a little about the photo before I post it...
I captured this shot, handheld, atop the 10,000 foot Haleakala crater in Maui, where a photographer was giving lessons to his students on sunset photography. He was in a rush to get out of there after the class was over since it was only in the low 30s outside, in comparison to the high 80s along the shore. Hurry up... it's cold up here! ![]()

But I really like it when people try to be a bit more creative with their shots when shooting a sunset. I think those people who try to do that "little bit more" will have the advantage in this one. |

"Minute Men" I took this picture on the boarder in AZ. in 2005. I was part of the Minute Men and stood the first watches on the board during that month we stopped crossing in April of 2005.
