Absolutely dreadful.... a real drug dealers car and I bet it doesn't handle like an M3 either E46 or E92

Holy hell, how old are some of you? I'm appalled by some of these responses.. Have any of you actually DRIVEN one? Imo the design may not necessarily be appealing to the mass crowd, but it is a very important step for Lexus to be moving away from their typical "boring" cars and entering into the more performance oriented class. Keep in mind this is only their first "real" sport sedan. Give it some time and I'm sure Lexus performance will be getting much better... sheesh.

We have to be philosophical about this. Some work their life away and saving bit by to be able to deliver us some of the best "RICE" mods out there.

But Congratulations to Lexus, they have delivered it bone stock

We understand they sometimes like to copy; they liked the rear pipes of the F430

They could have copied the rear of ... uhmmm, say, The M5, RS4, RS6 and many others ... but they did not want to copy... and they delivered it with a little tweek.

The rest, shall we say ... was their inspiration!!!

What makes no sense is that the thing is only rated to go .1 faster 0-60 than the IS350??

and WTF all over again for that vent deal behind the front wheel.

The exterior design is OK, with the exception of of the gawd-awfull gills behind the front wheels -why one may ask was that necessary. Oh the tail pipes are not kool at all IMHO.

What's up with 8 speeds - I swear soon they'll make them with as many speeds as a MAC TRUCK.

I actually thought the IS350 looked O.K. as I liked the front, the side to a certain extent (except for the slab sided look) and I found the rear always looked a bit too Toyota... it looked wrapped up quick quick.

But on this car they really outdid themselves
  • From the Front --> Beluga or Elephant man forehead comes to mind
  • From the Side --> Beluga again
  • From the Side --> WTF is that vent thing behind the wheels??? Viper or Covette... mind you, they fit in quite well on both of those cars.
  • From the Rear --> Just when you thought it could not get worse (Britney's Pantieless escapade & Downward Spiral is coming to mind)

To much RICE on the designers' mind

We simply know how to appreciate good design and quality. Just as when BMW Bungled the 7 Series ... Now they've refined it a bit.

It's not just because something comes from Japan that we won't like it; just as a lot of people here find the new GT-R from Nissan (Japanese) bad ass & looks good.

This is FUGLY!
The front of this coupe is in better proportion with the rest of the car in comparison with the sedan. It's plain to say you can't put a coupes nose on a sedan, it's just real bad. Don't like the coupe btw, but atleast it's a little better than the tupperware IS-F

Trying not to be bias, but in IMHO the car is Fugly, reminds me of Need for Speed underground when you over-accessorize your car (especially the bulge in the hood, the fenders-turn running board side and the throw them together tailpipes) Hopefully the performance aspect and real drive feel will be the saving grace

+1 This is going to make the new M3 look even better. F sedan is awful, but the coupe spy pics don't look as bad... probably because of the exhaust. What were they thinking...

BMW's ///M division my be ROF

I'm sure the business leaders will remind them not to become complacent and to use this opportunity to keep their leadership and never forget to keep their customer happy on the visual side and performance wise.

You know, our parents generation; only had to know how to cook and be decent in bed . Today, our generation we want it all, looks good, pretty good in the sack, knows how to use the Microwave , smart and sexxxy.

I could never stand this comment; yeah It's doesn't look great (looks like a sloppy jalopy or a POS) but drives like crazy.

Guess what, here are a few that finally also got that message from their clients:
  • Ford - Mustang, Explorer (years of shit looking Mustangs)
  • BMW - 850ci, First Gen new 7
  • GM - Camraro, Cadillac CTS & tons more
  • GM - Pontiac Aztech & first gen Avalanche... God, I hope they fired the Designer, the Manager that approved it and the Board members that voted for that thing.
  • GM - Corvette (Until the current version; what is that the C6?)
  • Toyota - Camry (Not that I like the new one, but it's better)
  • Acura - TL & RL (current one is best looking of all of them so far)
  • Ferrari - Enzo (what an Ugly car - yeah yeah technically it's Awesome ... but god it's Ugly to look at)
  • Porsche - Cayenne (that thing is still Ugly even with the re-design; they should take a lesson or two from Audi and BMW for looks)

I know, some of you will find a way to tell me that some in the list are nice after all... but I'm sure most will agree that there are some good examples of uglyness in there

What never ceases to fascinate me is all those bland and boring POS that Lexus had been turning up over the years and people kept gobbing them up ... Oh well +10 for them on their reliability.

Yea, hopefully they toned up the suspension. Lack of MT is always a though.
