Yea it doesn't make sense to me when a CLS63 costs $20k less. I'd even have the C63 Black Series. At least they give you some choice.

You guys serious? Comparing two-seater sportscars to a luxury coupe that seats four doesn't really make sense. The cars aren't even remotely similar. That's like saying buyers cross-shop an Alpina B7 with a DB9.

Well, I know Gonzo and he knows cars. I'll let him step in and explain.

btw, my reading comprehension skills are excellent. No reason to attempt to insult me. But if it makes you feel superior, than more power to you.

+1, he's like me when it comes to obsessing about the latest car info. Pretty damn sure the guy knows how to distinguish the two trim levels.

It doesn't make sense to me either. A CL is a CL. It's not a CLS (the CLS is an E Class platform and a four door), and it's not a sports car. The CL happens to be a two door version of the S Class platform.

"I was looking for more of a cruiser (more of a car like the CL550) I'd probably get a 1 year old 911 997.2 TT or a new Audi R8."

There tends to be a lot of name dropping when it comes to cars but without any real life experience of ownership. It's common on car forums, of course. But when it comes around to actually buying a car, then hopefully people get a bit more realistic. But I suppose dreaming is fun in the meantime.

Being it is about 9 million degrees outside here, I am cabin man until near game time.. Go Mavs!

Let's see.

I want to take business associates to lunch that are taller than gnomes and there are more than two of us going. I also prefer a luxury coupe to a sedan.

R8 check.
Carrera of any trim level much less a GT3 check.
C63 BS check.

I like every car mentioned but what the..

And yes, I know the pic is of the AMG CL.

e90kidspost at it's finest.

Good lordy.

Oh..gO mAvS!

You were right. But why do you feel the need to over-analyze my posts? Let me have my own opinion and leave it at that.

stickyp: Pop some peyote and pretend this evening.

BTW. A dealer south of me has a platinum silver / black guts Panamera Turbo S coming in.. oh Billy of a sedan.

180K.

Does bread need some sort of meat/fish between it for the next five years to be considered a "real" sandwich?

Visualizing Kobe while on peyote. Hmmmm. Might be worth a try. Um, on second thought....oh, never mind.

Can you believe I'm looking at Cayennes now, too. The new ones have a Panamera style interior. Maybe with the peyote I can pretend.......

Can't help with the sandwich issue. I gave up on all that. What's the point, right?

The closer they get it will only make BMW push and innovate further.

In the end, it's all a benefit for the customer.

Did you notice your posts were deleted on the M3Post thread with the C63, M3, RS5 comparo? I'm not surprised at all but found it funny because you were basically agreeing with my post... yet mine is still there lol

Yup.. And I got banned from the whole M3 post area for literally no reason at all on top of my posts being deleted. The same thing happened to me in the cayman r vs 1M section. I got banned from the 1M section because I expressed my opinion that I thought the cayman r was better. I'm just keeping my opinions to myself from now on.

Gonna get one? I wonder if they'll even have opportunities to test drive them. I know when I was looking at a C63 hardly anyone had one on the lot that wasn't sold. (Compare that to the 4-10 M3's I had to choose from).
