I believe that /M you saw was a very limited production e46 CSL M3 that didnt make the market. They wre rejects, like IRREGULAR shirts.
BMW decided to scrap it, but that guy manage to take one home.

If you have a tuned-up 3-Series and put an ///M Badge on it that's one thing, but on a completely stock Honda Civic to have a BMW License Plate Frame, Shark Fin Antenna, BMW Hood Ornament, and an M Badge is just plain dumb.
