Pats do run up the scores and you guys know it. They're trying to stick it to the NFL and the people who criticized them for "cheating".

Anyways, today was a good game (although the Colts lost). Im not trying to justify anything but I am very curious to see how the Colts would have performed with all their key players in the game.

true....but 2 bad calls from the Refs in the 1st half (pass interference) which got the colts 2 scores

i never understood this whole "run up scores" thing.

its the NFL, its powerhouse team with an excellent QB, are you saying after they have a lead they should stop trying to score points?

No, not necessarily. Just that when you're up 42-7 with 8 minutes left in the game, there is no way the opposing team (who has struggled to get 7 pts) will score another 5TDs and a FG.

The thing is that NE has been criticized for that one scandal and instead of just going in there and win the game, they go in there and just score as many points as possible to show that they can. Perhaps it's also to prove that they are a good team with or without that so-called illegal taping.

I personally dont really care what they do. Im simply saying that they have a point to prove and by driving up the scores, that point has clearly been made.

There's no running up the score in the NFL. If you don't like it, do somethiong to stop it. Problem is, no one can.

i hear what you are saying, and if they were trying to prove a point, their is many other ways of doing it.

IMO, its the way the Patriot's play that make them such a good team. They play the same when they are down more then 10 point's, and they play the same when they are up more then 10 points. Or any amount of point's for that matter. They come to play a game, their job is to win, just as any other team. Why should they have to hold the hand of the other team?

And why is this a Patriot's "issue" now? Why has no one ever mentioned this in other sport's, baseball, basketball, whatever. I didn't hear anyone complain when the Red Sox out scored the Rockies 14 to 1.

I think it's because it was the first time that someone's been caught and was complained about publicly. They are a good team with a lot of veterans on there. They're a more "balanced" team I should say. I think the reason why the Colts lost today was because they let their guard down in the 4th quarter. Regardless, it was a good win for NE.

24-20 is hardly driving up the score. The Colts held them to 10 points til almost half way through the 4th quarter. Driving up the score is more like 52-7- the thing is that they cant do that against the Colts.

Dont get me wrong, i am from NY and dont care if all of Boston went up in flames (J/K )

You have to give credit where credit is due, and they do deserve it. I am trying to be non-bias, but this whole "running up the score" stuff is out of hand. I even heard them talking about it on T.V.

It was a good game. I'll be looking forward to a possible rematch in Foxboro in January.

Exactly, because the Colt's are a better team then the Red Skin's.
But if the Pat's can destory a team like the Red Skin's and add more and more point's to the scoreboard then why not? Im sure the Colt's would of done the same in that position.

Yeah I mean, he's a star QB, hes dating a super model, he himself could be a model if he wanted too. Damn so much to abuse the poor guy about, give me a break, they have nothing else to say, and all wish they lived his life.

Yeah, I did. I was hoping he wouldn't draw a penalty. Either way, worst officiating I've EVER seen.
