Whether any foreign insurance companies will tailor their product to cover this or not, is obviously another story. In Germany it does not make a difference for insurance purposes whether a track (or any other road) is privately owned or not.

That matters for the many who do ED on tourist insurance which would not cover an accident on a private track. Don't know how much it would be but venture to guess it would at least double the cost of laps and delays with people hopefully forced to buy insurance.

They are not getting rid of tourist days. Its how the track made enough money to stay open before it was bought. "Public road" is staying and its going to be greatly improved as far as track maintenance.

@Wild Will track has been open all this month, where have you been lol! I went last Sunday and I'm planning on going again around the mid April if not before...
