Picked up the car from the firm that added the Xpel PPF and ceramic coating. Time for good driving now to finish the 'break-in' and then have the initial service soon!!

What I did to my M2 today...

...nothing good! Hit a glancing blow to a curb at 25 mph and in addition to dinging up two wheels, I don't think the steering tie rod is supposed to look like this?

You have to double down with IMMEDIATE repair and new set of wheels.

If that was individual paint, you made a bad choice.

I thought it was a type of ppf but was sure.

Oh if there was individual paint I would definitely choose a different color, but I actually really like the dynoprism on ZB

Installed the Dahler exhaust flap controller- there’s a difference albeit subtle… was it worth the price? Not sure… probably should’ve put the money into exhaust/down pipe

I guess its obvious I have a "type". Both cars are similar in dimensions. Both cars a manual. Nothing will ever sound like that V8. However the G87 has way more torque and power. Is sharper and more precise considering the e92 is hydraulic. The G87 has a slightly longer nose due to the straight six as apposed the V8. Love both cars.
Same DNA. Love M. Happy to be able to experience both.

I had an '08 M3 Coupe and loved the V8, except for its lack of torque; also needed an exhaust to actually hear it. The G87 is a better DD, and undoubtedly on the track as well.

How do you compare back seat room? I remember the E92 to be much roomier in the back, but maybe I'm misremembering it.

Ignoring how hard it is to get in/out of the G87 rear seats, it would be just perfect with an extra 2 inches of head room for me (teenage kids).

There is more head room in the E92. The G87 has a flatter roof line. less of a bubble.

I heard the same, but also heard you gain a small bit of height with the CF roof option.

Even so if you look at the roof line of both cars the G87 with carbon is squat and the roof line is more flat. The e92 with carbon has rounder roof line.

Ah yes of course. I was not comparing the e92. I was referring to the additional gain in the CF roof G87 and the standard roof in the G87.
