In Canada, the default are blue in colour. But there is an option to upgrade to M compound with both a blue or red caliper.

Guessing this is an exclusive option for the CND market and is the default for US.

I’m on the water but it looks like the ship is heading back to Mexico to pick you up.

The brakes are the same across all M2's. You'd only be changing the caliper color.

I would have assumed these would be standard as there's not a Carbon option.

Before I bug the heck out my CAs, can you confirm if you have an actual customizable Canadian allocation?

TIA.

App doesn’t seem to have an option to track with a production number unfortunately, only the web version

I'm in Charlotte but I have a spot in line at the Greensboro, NC dealership and I haven't heard a word. I've checked in and they haven't received any allocations yet unfortunately. I was curious if Hendrick BMW here is Charlotte has one.

I'm going to have to check with my dealer although it sounds like only the larger volume stores were part of this round.

The Vermont dealership I am working with got an M3 CS allocation instead of M2(s) as well. I didn't expect that but at least the HEA car will be here in a few weeks to ogle at while I wait. I still need to see ZB in person!

I just checked in with my dealer today. I was told that the first person in line has an allocation and that they are expecting more soon. I’m number 2 in line. However, he told me that an adjustment I made to my order (choice of Cognac vs Black seats with M highlights), could have bumped me down to #3?
From my understanding of how the process works, this doesn’t sound right to me. If anyone can clarify that would be much appreciated.

Until you have an allocation assigned to you and the dealer actually enters an order, any selections you made are pre-order ones and should not affect you position. Of course, dealers do what they do.
