For those in Baltimore with MP HAS installs, my CA sent the following today, "work order was updated to "PIA installed" which is signifying that the work order is nearing the end of the process. The status will be updated any day now to complete, and it'll be released to the carrier."

Hopefully everyone will hear the same!

Just called my CA and genius and the work order still hasn’t finished. Happy for you guys who will be getting their cars shortly!

I'm in the same boat. I have a 340. At VPC since 12/20. Work order started 12/26. No update as of now. Getting pretty frustrated as I was almost sure I'd have this car by year-end. Unfortunately, I am trading in a Wagoneer and I have to think the trade-in has plummeted since the deal was negotiated back in October.

Follow up to finding oil dripping from passenger side undercarriage.

After going to the dealer they pulled off the under panels and there was no oil on the engine side of the panels and after looking around with a special light they have to detect fluids there is no leakage!

Apparently I ran over a bottle of oil or a puddle of oil or something. Just happy nothing is wrong with the car. They washed it and handed it back.

Good service department.

Leaving for the airport in a couple of hours. I'll be at the Performance Center bright and early tomorrow for delivery. I'll post pics but it might not be until I get back home on Sunday.

Any updates on your end? My CA just emailed me to tell me that he has no update… still at port with no end in sight.

I just received the following from my CA, "Great news! Your vehicle has been released to a transporter and will be arriving any day now." MyBMW still showing "at port" though. Will check later tonight and tomorrow morning for changes.

Hopefully yours and others are soon too!

Just to add to the information bucket, I too am still "at the port". Flying out to the West Coast for the rest of the week tomorrow. Hoping I come back and it's at the dealership.

Friends, it has finally happened. I took delivery on Friday at the Performance Center and am now back home in Florida. The car is amazing and I couldn't be happier. I'm going to install a few things today, then it's going in for PPF and window tint tomorrow. As soon as that's done it's immediately getting the suspension adjusted, getting an alignment, and getting the rear spoiler installed.

This was my timeline:

05/30: Deposit paid, on the wait list
07/29: Allocation received
10/10: Scheduled for production
10/26: Production begins
11/08: Exterior body assembly begins
11/08: In the paint booth
11/08: Entering assembly line
11/12: Ready for transport
11/23: In transit
11/27: At the port
12/21: Arrived at the Performance Center
01/05: Delivered

Thanks to everyone here for the support during this journey. To those still waiting for your cars, it will all be worth it.

Mine just showed up yesterday but there is a ton of snow on the ground. Picking up tomorrow and immediately going to Chicago Auto Pros for PPF/tint/ceramic followed by swapping for the Apex rims I've had in storage for a few months now. Fingers crossed I won the tire lottery!

Congrats!!! Super jealous cause yours was built a day before mine but has been delivered and mine is still at the Port since the 27th also. Guessing mine is the MP HAS slowing it up.

Following up here. My car made it to the dealership yesterday. And I'm across the country on a business trip. Oh well! I'll be back Friday & will be heading to the dealership on Saturday to pick it up. Then off to get PPF! Can't wait to sit in this car!

Received an email from BMW Genius this morning that my car has left the delivery center and is on a truck to my dealership (near St. Louis, MO) as of 1/9. There's potential that I'll be able to take delivery on Saturday! Only downside is that temps are projected to be in the single digits this weekend and early next week.

Better get those snow tires ready. I had my dealer put on some Michelin alpin pa4s before I took delivery and surprisingly, all four factory summer tires fit in the car!

Oh wow. You arrived at the port the same day as me? Which port? Do you have anything else other than the MP HAS?

I had the carbon fiber inlets, center console lid, floor mats, and trunk mat in addition to the suspension. I don't know if I sat at the port as long as I did due to any of the parts or if it was just storage due to Performance Center Delivery.

Damn, that's cold. Any rain/snow forecasted or is it just going to be cold?
