Because the admins tend to lean liberal wheras a good majority of the crowd here is right... the gun thing seems like the one off that is allowed more under the guise of a hobby etc.

I'll hope that you'll discharge the Glock mags after taking the pics to let the feeder springs relaxing
Nice shooting out there. Upper left one 1 looks like the gun was cold at first attempts.

Whether one should or shouldn't let the springs "relax" is about as controversial as which (automotive) oil to use, change interval or what is the best wax. Mine have sat for years and still function correctly.

I shoot my duty weapon the most proficiently, and that's probably due to significantly more trigger time, more manipulation time, etc. (….and also more time drawing it in and out of the holster multiple times daily). I am not as good from the same distances with most of my other handguns.

For the Sig fans here. Rare mint nickel made in Germany “compact” compared to 365 SAS. Difference is huge.

I leave all my magazines loaded, never had an issue. I find them much easier to load after being spent if you leave them loaded at all times! In happier news, FDE Friday is here once again! Glad to see other members here with the same fine firearms! Nice shooting btw Sedan_Clan! Last edited by NickyC; 01-20-2023 at 01:10 AM.. |

I found this at one of my local hiding spots in my patrol area. It looks like some gang members have been engaging in some target practice in the city (…and missing half the shots).

Looks like 3 different calibers used. Maybe the large caliber was a revolver? 22 was a single shot...and a 9mm semi auto pistol?

How can you tell the 22 is a single shot? Or the large caliber a revolver? Seriously there must be a clue but it's going right by me.

The smallest holes, which I assume are the 22, are mostly far away from each other. A single shot 22 would make sense as the person has to reengage the target every time. You always give the new shooter the 22. So bad aim and far away groupings make sense. With a semiautomatic pistol the groupings would be closer. Also not many holes(takes time to load) Largest holes I see 6 I think? So semi large caliber revolver is my bet. Had it loaded before they got there. Bunch of 9mm is the rest of the holes. Semi auto pistol. Plenty 'close' together. My guess is they did this fast and then bounced. All guesses. I could be 100% wrong. I don't star at bullet holes often. |
