Indian for a change. Butter chicken, cumin potatoes, garlic carrots & broccoli, naan. Forgot how turmeric turns everything yellow. Everything. Even aluminum pans. Have to say I was bemused by a receipe while browsing for ideas that called for a tablespoon of turmeric and (optionally) yellow food coloring. How yellow would that be?!

Looks delicious. My wife has tried to make a few time and not too easy...I typically rate a restaurant on their egg roll.

Thanks! I’m sure my mom would appreciate the kind words as well.

I’m sure I’m being biased, but my mom makes some of the best egg rolls I’ve ever had. She’s old school Vietnamese, has a donut shop and all. Haha. She made egg rolls once when I was visiting and gave a couple guests some to try. Word has spread among her guests and now she gets asked to make catering plates several times a week. She’ll do it every once in a while but turns down most requests because of the amount of labor.

Ordered a thin crust, pepperoni, jalapeno, and pineapple pizza with the spicy marinara from Mazzio's.........it's an Oklahoma only chain. Only have restaurants in the OKC and Tulsa metro areas.

The spicy sauce is awesome and goes back decades to when they started as Ken's Pizza.

The fiance leaves for Phoenix Thursday morning and won't be back until Monday (death in the family). So we are cleaning tonight, she's taking the dogs tomorrow to be boarded so I can have some peace and quiet (and give my allergies a break).
