"It will be available with the choice of either lift-related or variable dampers."
What does this mean exactly? We can get option for height adjustment without going aftermarket? |

I doubt this car gets new headlights, but instead a different bumper design. I imagine the space under the headlight close to the grilles will be similar to the renders we have seen.

How are we feeling on the hips…do they look wider here? Previously I've thought yet but maybe not much now?

just branding for the non-active suspension (passive suspension). BMW has some technology around valve lift it introduced in the G20 that allows for variable compression rates as the shock compresses. I am not an expert but paraphasing it basically allows for more comfort and more stiffness at the same time

It would be cool if that space under the headlights is used as a air channel - possibly for brake cooling

I'm hoping that the untold part of this story is a new Z4M being developed at the same time for the BMW side of the project.

Yeah it would be weird to see a S58 Supra but not at least a one-off Z4M

Personally, I'm liking it so far. However, I sort of expect BMW to fuck it up right at the finish line. At least based on recent styling history. Overall, I'm excited and if the design is reasonable, I'll be in on this car.
PS - BMW, don't cripple the MT with a lower output motor |

Surprised too. Looking closely, it does seem to be different. Unless the bumper changes, it appears the M2 is getting different headlights than the base models.

Hopefully this means we have a more BMW'ish DRL than the G42. Also extended tail lights would be nice.

There was a new render I just saw, it has the same M240i headlights but there is an air vent below the inner portion of the headlights where is kicks up. So same headlights and DRL, just a different bumper shape and vent to fill the gap. That would make more sense than all new headlights for just the M2. |
