For reference. I picked my car up today. I asked the genius just out of curiosity after I collected where the car was at and they stated it was still showing as dispatched to the dealership with expected delivery to me on the second week of April. There is definitely at least a couple of days delay in the updates the genuis can provide you.

Awesome and thanks for time line. We were on the same time line and ship. So have you picked it up yet? Look forward to some pix. I get mine April 11th at PCD. Enjoy.

Back on the 8th of March, I got a message from my CA and I finally got a VIN. The car was in status 150, scheduled for body shop. I still can not track my VIN or production number thru BMWs website. Is this normal? Do I need to ask my CA to look this info? I didn't want to bother her with this question because after she gave me the VIN, she said the next notification she would give me is when it arrived in the port in Bremerhaven.

what happens when you try to put the VIN in? also do you have a 6 or 7 digit production number? have you tried a different VIN? try this one 3MW23CM00N8C59173

Your VIN works for me. But when I type in my VIN, it says invalid VIN. Same thing for my production number that I have.

i'd message your CA (or go there) and ask to seen a screen shot of their status of the car.. so you can confirm the VIN and Production numbers and that your allocation is real |

First time posting here.
Placed an order on 2/18 with no allocation. I need the car (roughly) by September. If assuming I get an allocation next week, what are the chances I see this car by Labor Day? Assuming I do not get an allocation, how long should I keep waiting for an allocation before I need to make other plans? I very much appreciate any guidance you all can provide! |

i think it will depend on what build week the allocation is for, and the new model year probably comes into play...
for instance, my build week 5 car didn't actually move into production till late feb, it was finish being built on March 16, and i'm now waiting for transport.. i think it expect it to be at least 4 months after the build week starts.. to be conservative |

My status changed to ready for transport yesterday. It was stuck in final assembly for about 2 weeks even though my CA emailed me that the car was handed over to sales on March 15th. I got an email from my CA today saying the car is at the port waiting for vessel assignment.

I could probably take a row boat from NY to the plant in Mexico and pick up my car quicker than it will be loaded on a ship and transported up the east coast.
