Ask your CA to send you a screenshot of the VIR. My CA sent me one and I saw that my work order (HAS) is in progress and estimated release date is 11/4.

Yeah my release date is 11/2. Hopefully I can get it into PPF by 11/3!

I also have HAS option. I asked my CA, and he is expecting the release date is 11/3 or 11/4. So he said delivery date would be 11/5 or 11/6.

Interesting. If we can apply directly, why would you even let the CA add a point?

Does BMW FA not distribute the loans directly to consumers?

I received an e-mail from BMW Genius this morning informing me that my build is Week 48, which is Nov. 27 - Dec. 3!

That's sooner than I expected.

Try to schedule pick up from dealer for same day as ppf and drive straight there for best protection (other than getting it trucked directly there of course).

Scheduled for next week but they are including free paint correction so hopefully still good to drive over the weekend!

Ya most good ppf / ceramic shops will do paint correction prior to treatment. But if you take a rock chip or something first it won't help. Suggest going straight to shop from dealership if possible.

I am going into PPF this weekend. I haven’t seen any rock chips but do wish I had made the appointment sooner as I have about 500 miles on the car.

May I ask if you are doing front /combo / full? I have decided to go with STEK over XPEL (minimal differences).

I am doing entire front, CF roof and rockers. I was thinking about rear panels but at that point might as well do whole car. I didn’t have a choice as this shop uses expel exclusively I believe. I am also getting all my windows tinted and hopefully m2 black badge and spoiler thrown on.
