I am waiting on a discounted quote from the legendary Phillip over at Aerowerkz - We will see if he agrees to $5500 for the whole car. He quoted me $7000 for Stealth PPF.

My car flew through the VPC with HAS install and is already on its way to the dealership! Delivery date TBD, but I'm pushing for tomorrow.

Congrats. I hope mine would be done soon. My CA is pushing to receive mine on Friday so he can deliver it over this weekend.

Did you see the updated VIR today? Mine was actually released to carrier yesterday, so maybe yours was too.

Tracker has not updated, as I think the car is still physically at the VPC, but it has been released to carrier and likely getting loaded up for transport today.

5500 for full is a steal if you can get it.

I went with Kavaca ppf from Ceramic Pro along with their ceramic coating and tint. Full front plus cf roof and rockers, ceramic coat full thing, black badging while there.

I wish I could just get the car detailed at their shop weekly as their prep is immaculate every time I'm there for any of the cars I've brought there

You're so close to the VPC that your car might get to the dealer before the status updates in the tracker. Ask your CA for the VIR.

Ya I am going to call him in 30 mins. He for sure hates me by now for always bothering him. The only time he ever reached out to me was to ask for my credit ran before Nov. lol.

My CA definitely hates me by now too, but she’s making commission off my $80k, so she can kick rocks if she thinks she has any right to complain. We’re so close!

Just called my CA- looks like it will be tomorrow as they have not gotten notice of carrier departure just yet.

On another note- I asked my CA to not make any unnecessary drives before I take delivery. He told me the only necessary drive is for the tech to monitor the safety features. I told him to not bothering filling her up with gas. I am not taking any chances with that engine break in period! I will be driving off the lot on E straight to the local Shell.

I wouldn't be too worried about them putting on a significant number of miles. I'm more worried about them messing up the paint. I have instructed them not to wash the exterior, as the dealership uses a drive through machine wash that may damage the paint. Are you going to let them wash yours?

Happy to help. I would really love to take delivery of a shiny car, but not if that means a machine wash beating the hell out of my paint right before I take it to have it hand washed during the PPF process.

Are you having a whole car PPF? I think the shop would wash the car first before the PPF. I will have only the full front. The PPF shop is very near by the dealership so I can drop it off after the delivery.

I’m doing full car, yes. The shop will definitely wash the car immediately before installing film, hence my passing up the dealership’s machine wash. I also have a shop semi-nearby the dealership, so I’ll be driving it those few miles gingerly, with a mile between me and the next car in front of me, as to minimize chips.

Ya shops will do a diligent wash and paint correction if needed prior to ppf and ceramic regardless if just the front or full car. Can't recommend enough scheduleing the ppf appt for the day of pickup so you take it straight from dealership to shop. The only thing better is having it trucked directly to the shop.

Tracker just flipped to in transit and I got a notification that my appointment is set with the dealership tomorrow, so it looks like it's going down tomorrow. It looks like the HAS install did not slow down my delivery at all, which is a nice surprise. 6 days from hitting the port to taking delivery with HAS installed is pretty great.
