Interesting...it doesn't look particularly quick here.
Really hoping it's not single headlights too, but perhaps that ship has sailed.

This latest G87 M2 video that was posted today looks promising. Car look well controlled and had lots of composure at the limit. Simply hope it looks just as good as it performs. If so, I'll gladly cancel my G80 M3 AWD order build.
Hey BMW... Please don't mess up the front end of this new M2 BMW. Hope you learned your lesson with the WAY out of proportion buck tooth grills of the current M3.

Front fenders have a weird design and look bloated. Doesn't seem to have the wide rear fenders exposed. Seems kinda squarish design and not hunkered down like the current M2.

And the Lotus Emira: >420hp mid-engine RWD manual (though likely pricey - seems it will compete in 718 and 911 price range) more details/proto-type reveal coming beginning of July All mentioned are pretty much in the running for my next car. if the new M2 is anything like a combination of the drivers car/fun factor of the current gen, and the increased composure of the new m3/m4 (without gaining weight) they can take my money |

Has anyone else noticed the trend of more wheel gap on the newer m cars? I like a little bit of lowering on my cars but with how much I see here it's gonna be full coil overs if I want any hope of a decent ride afterwards. I guess like a lot of things the days of simple spring swap for 3/4-1" drop are gone. Maybe m will make a set of performance coil overs like they did with the f87?

The reduced rear end camo shows a trunk line that looks very similar to the Supra's. Not a terrible thing but probably fits better in the Supra with its more Japanese design language. Then again BMW doesn't really have a classically German design language anymore. Maybe it will all come together.

Lotus is a fringe brand. It would take a real leap of faith to actually make such a purchase happen.

Same here. Although BMW won't actually do it, I really wish BMW would pair the S58 with the DCT on this. One last hurrah for the awesome ICE & the last M2 that's truly engaging in every sense of the word.
One can only hope right.... ?
