There have only been 3 drops that I recall. The first drop was only 2 or three cars. Then 2 weeks later 40 dropped. Then a few days ago another larger drop. I expect it to continue like this.

Obviously the dealership has my $. That is not a question that needed an answer... Also, why would I try to find a prior CA? I have a new CA since mine retired. I am not looking for IF I am on a list. What I am doing is "hoping" out loud that I am high on the list. Said they would try to help out as much as possible due to the circumstances. The order bank is what it is, so only time will tell. Since you asked so eloquently, I am going to reach out to BMWNA to tell them my story. Not a complaint, just not a terrific timeline of events either no worries mate, all will be ok. In the end, NOT a huge deal. Im looking for something to hold me over til my real spot in line shows up with another carmaker. I am like a few others on here, this M2 ALMOST checks the boxes for me. I'm not really one to settle for almost. I have the option of snagging an upcoming 911T for my wife from a friend's dealership. (My kids are small, they will still fit in the back seats for a number of years.) If it comes down to it, I can drive the T and wait for my dream car ⏳

Guess we can agree that we would have handled it differently, but no need to elaborate further. I think your post should really have been posted here: https://g42.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1994403 |

Does anyone knownif BMWNA will cycle through the dealers during each subsequent drop of allocations, or will high volume dealers usually receive 2 or 3 allocations per drop?

Hey, guys I went to my dealership a few days ago and decided to go with a M4 instead and got an allocation for it today since I was #4 for the m2. I wish you guys luck and I hope you enjoy your cars. Maybe I’ll get a m2 comp later down the line

Congrats (and finally!!)
I’m curious - I got my allocation on 2-13, for a week 13 build. If your allocation was in the batch released this week, are they giving out earlier allocations to higher volume dealerships, or might your production week/allocation have moved due to someone passing on their car? |

Much appreciated. I'll go with that since it makes me hopeful a few more of us #1 in line-ers might get allocations sooner than waiting a full month for the next batch. Only time will tell though.

SA just called me today. I've got a production number! Was number 1 on the list.
Guess now I'll have to put a halt to my M3 allocation search |

Of the 149 modifiables marked sold…ZB is the most popular color chosen (40 selections).
The order being: ZB BG BSM TR AW The middle three are all very close. |

Checked in with my CA, they got 1 allocation, so I moved from #3 to #2. Progress. I had hoped they got 2 allocations but they might be a slightly lower volume dealership than I thought.
Progress is still something and I hope things move a lil quicker in the next few weeks. |
