true detective season 3 is really solid. cliff hanger ending this past week! no spoilers...but i had a really strong suspicion where this story was going to end up...unless that cliff hanger was some sort of misdirecting tease!

also re-watching OZ on HBO. i didnt watch it consistently when it was originally aired. solid series that launched a bunch of actors into bigger roles on more prestigious series.

I was ready to give up on true detective season three, but Sunday's episode was very good.

I've been holding off starting it because I just can't watch a show week-to-week anymore. I grew up that way, but just can't stand it now. Funny how times/technology changes how you do things.

So I purposely let TD run so I can watch a couple of episodes at a time.

Only exception will be GOT when it starts in April. That I won't be able to wait for.

Watching Schitt's Creek. It is hilarious. 4 seasons on Netflix now, 5th is current.

We started YOU this past weekend. We have 2 episodes left and will have to wait until Sunday to finish them. This show represents everything that is wrong with this current generation aka the millennial's. This show has the potential to be great but NO ONE in this show demonstrates any sort of responsibility or rational thinking. Perhaps that is what makes it so relate-able to the younger generation.

Sadly, we got hooked and now how to finish this trainwreck out til the end.

I started watching this and thought it was quite entertaining....a dark love drama/comedy of sorts. I abandoned it with a few episodes left as I lost interest. It seemed to run out of steam after the Peach "incident" in CT (don't want to spoil it for those who have yet to watch it or are interested).

We thought the same thing. I was kinda over it after the 3rd or 4th episode but couldn't believe the level of oversight on every single characters actions. To be honest if Beck would just simply focus on writing rather than all the other stupid shit she does, she wouldn't be faced with most of the problems she deals with.

Narcos Mexico was superb!

American Soul - details the story of Don Cornelius and one of if not THE most iconic Live/Music/Dance shows in TV history, is quite entertaining. Especially if you enjoy 70's R&B.

The Walking Dead season premier was damn good and I like these new characters who wear the dead masks being introduced!

I rarely watch network TV shows but, Titan Games on NBC is great and The Passage on Fox is pretty good.
Otherwise I'm all about Nat Geo & Nat Geo Wild, Discovery and SMithsonian Channel.

I truly struggle to find anything worthwhile on network TV. Smithsonian and Nat Geo are great - really enjoy the “Drain the Oceans” series.

I watched the 1st episode, season 2, on youtube, it was spectacular.

Kingdom on Netflix. Korean period thriller, GoT meets Walking Dead. The bad guy in Kingdom makes the Lannisters look like boy scouts.

Fauda on Netflix. Israeli action thriller about secret police in Palestine. S01 is a bit slow but you need to get thru it cos S02 is a real cracker!

Counterpart. Spy-Fi with brilliant writing and acting. Great great story. So many twists and turns that it makes the Nurburgring look like a drag strip.

There's quite a bit of ground you have to cover. You've got some good content ahead of you with one caveat: like most series it starts to slow up as you get past season 5.
