I started production March 11,day after fredward and I’m still in qc so I’m hoping any day now I see a update here so I can catch the next boat up the east coast to nj

I wasn’t as lucky as some I ordered dec18th 2021 didn’t get allocation till feb7,went in production march11 currently sitting in quality check

Yeah. "Today's the day" has been ongoing for 12 days. I put my first deposit down in late December. This is excruciating.

Just got off the phone with Genius and they said mine is on its way to port as of yesterday. Tracker still shows ready for transport.

Any week 16ers get a VIN yet? I've been checking the G20 and G80 forums and a lot of them are saying they received their VIN about 1-2 weeks before the build week.

So I'll be picking it up tomorrow or Monday looks like. If anyone feels like there's a weirdly worryingly long wait for any of your steps, all I can say is that it's sort of normal in today's climate.

01/08/2022 Production Starts
01/10/2022 Production complete, in Quality Check
02/10/2022 Finished quality check, moved to dispatched from factory
02/27/2022 In Transit
03/18/2022 Arrived at Baltimore
03/24/2022 Cleared VPC, status back to At Port
04/06/2022 In Transit

I can do you one better. I was originally week 14, then pushed to week 16. I even called this morning and Genius confirmed week 16. I just checked 5 minutes ago and I am now "production begins" with a VIN.

yeah mine was in that state for 3 weeks.. it made me so mad the "today" part of that message

I got a weird one dealer says week 13, BMW says week 13 with no updated delay however they all still see status 112.. we are in week 14

I was a week 11 build, got pushed to week 12 but just checked again and now am at “Ready for Transport”

What mine did was on march11 it was at 150
Then March24 it jumped to 153

2/21 - Ordered
2/21 - Scheduled for production (week 11)
3/17 - Production begins
4/4 - Entering assembly line
4/6 - Final assembly

I had a similar experience before mine went into production. It was originally a week 9 build and genius and my CA both kept saying it was showing week 9 most of the way into week 10. Then on I think Wednesday of week 10 genius told me it was showing week 10 now and should be going into production in the next day or two. It did, “production begins” showed on the tracker on that Thursday, but build steps didn’t happen until the next week.

Same hear was told week 9 the end pushed to week 10 then pushed to week 11 and actually start end of week 10

wierd how this is all over the place for people.. I see a lot with the same production start week as mine.. some have been bumped.. others are stuck in QA about like mine (although only a few days on mine) and others who pushed through the whole assembly->QA->Final in a matter of days. I am guessing it must have something to do with certain options.

Another thing to consider is some of these guys are getting 230i seems these go through the process way quicker, you are correct tho theses build dates are all over the place for me that’s the most frustrating part,I can be stuck in quality check for another month or it might finish tomorrow 🤷🏼*♂️ Nobody knows
