Well that’s good I guess. It hasn’t completely left the area. Maybe it’s just waiting out the weather and then it’ll dock.

Thats my guess. unfortunately as well but its still there...

For those looking at the frontier ace - its following its path back to jacksonville. Unfortunately none of us have heard anything about being on the frontier ace so I'm not sold on it but then again, all we have on the glovis sunrise is my CA saying I'm booked to be on that so who knows...

it looks as though Sunrise is nearly back to its route toward the port of Veracruz so maybe they are making the loop to head back in now? I'm not sure based on the weather/winds but I'll keep monitoring

Finding it hard to believe it’s weather related. These ships are built to withstand certain conditions. It’s not like a hurricane is heading towards the port. We also saw other vessels (vehicle carriers) going in and out of port. I’m just hoping they get their act together and start loading. This is really frustrating

There is potential that the 60+ mph winds are effecting the port in a way if they aren't scheduled to moor until later this week they are moving them away from anchor. I have absolutely no clue on inclement weather procedures for ships or ports (or logistics for that matter) though so movements could be 100% unrelated.

In other news...if anyone was curious what Cardinal picked up from Altamira and dropped off in Brunswick...here ya go. That's peanuts compared to the amount of KIAs it took.

It sounds like RoRos are more susceptible to environmental conditions because, it's like "trying to balance a pencil on its tip," especially when it's under-loaded.
