That being said the most recent RX-7 shot is in Explore right now. It's in 6 groups. So we at least know 6 groups is not too many. I'm no were near 44 and it's been a year or more since I've had one in explore.

Thanks Dave. I got several even better than that yesterday that I still need to process. I had a pretty good outing up to the NWR's. I think I feel a cold coming on this Friday to head out to the other two that are south of here

The fastest bird (actually fastest animal period) in the world takes a brake. From a different angle you could see the goose down in its talons showing the remnants of a recent meal

The original Targa was a super car for me. Take off the roof and it felt like you were in a full convertible.

You guys make me want to spend money on some expensive supertelephotos and get out and shoot some nature.
As much as I shoot cars, my real passion is landscape and wildlife. The car thing is just 2 hobbies crossing paths and now I've inherited the duties of club Photographer by my friends. |

I think I remember that you have a 70-200mm f/2.8. That's well suited for mammals, particularly with the EF 1.4x and 2.0x TC-III attached. Of course, your primes are really well suited to landscape. I run into lots and lots of photographers with the 100-400mm as their go-to lens. The Nikon guys are all slobbering over the new 200-500mm which is priced affordable and can be hand held easily.
