9/30 RFT over here and it's gotten real old . Any Baltimore drop-offs see an update on MyGarage yet? I was hoping the Glovis Cardinal would have some of our vehicles, but its looking less likely since it docks in a few hours and nobody has any updates, either through Genius or the website.

Is there any chance at all for any of us to get an update saying that we're going from RFT to at port at it's location at all? Has this happened to anyone? Maybe we'll get our cars in a few days...

GLOVIS cardinal is in port at Baltimore. They are at Dundalk but as far as I can tell it’s all the same port system?

Hello there, new to the community. My prod date was 10/17 and I am one of the many stuck at RFT, which brought me here!
I spoke to a wonderful Genius tonight who told me all about her Christmas shopping progress and her grandkids, and she happened to explain to me that the Vera Cruz port is very small and there's a backlog of thousands of cars waiting to ship out of that port. The cars are held in giant warehouses offsite and trucked to the port at the time that they are to be loaded onto the ship but, even still, they tend to only get about 500 BMWs on a boat at any given time. Up until recently, they anticipated about a 4-6 week wait from RFT to being loaded onto a boat but that's been pushed up to 6-8 weeks now and, in some cases, even longer. She told me to try calling back around the week of Thanksgiving for a more accurate timeline. Just thought I would share my experience. |

Wasnt expecting that update
So i called up the genius line today looking for an update on my G87 (been RFT since 10/3) and he told me i am on the truck headed to the port. I ask which port and he says "Bremerhaven", i said "That's a city in Mexico?" and he goes "no, that's in Germany".
He told me all M cars are built in Germany, has anyone else gotten this answer? I called my CA and he told me most are built in MX but some are still built in Germany. He could not confirm what port the truck is headed to but will follow up with me ASAP. I assume this is going to add a buttload of time to my wait having to cross the frickin atlantic ocean now. |
