20.5 oz gold quality American Wagyu NY strip. Salt/pepper all day in fridge. Cast iron skillet on the gas ring outside. Toasted rosemary and another herb I still can’t identify but it smells so good, from the yard. Jale and butter in the pan
After boiling and putting the rice mix in water cooked that up, cut in half to share with wife O M G I need to get a “regular “ NY and cook the same way to decide if it’s method or meat Oh, and Margarita came by as well

Roast whole fresh chicken last night cooked in a ninja with a special sauce which wifey won't tell me what it was, with 'cooked on top' small potatoes and boiled from frozen veg.

Birthday dinner: Filet mignon, baked potato with butter, a small salad with blue cheese dressing. To drink: Water. Plain and simple.
A yellow cake with chocolate/cream cheese frosting. Just one candle; if I put them all on there we'd have to have the fire brigade present when lighting the candles. I've enjoyed drinking Scotch whiskey for decades and also enjoyed gin & tonic in the warmer months, but it just doesn't appeal to me anymore.
